Southern Poker Tour was created and formed by four poker loving friend looking at creating a unique experience not regularly available and accessible to poker players in areas all over Southern Australia.
What started out as a plan for a single event, has grown to a full twelve-month tour plan. Consisting of four major events in towns and small cities all over Southern Australia, but accessible to players from all over the nation.

Mick’s role as part of the SPT Team requires him setting up all Tournament Logistics, IT Control and Registration Management to help make running all events a smooth journey. In doing so the ease of access to tournaments by our players is achieved.
Bill’s main roll involves event co-ordination and venue organisation. He also plays a big roll in attracting and promoting the local businesses as sponsors in the areas that tournaments are being held, thus promoting these areas to all the visiting poker players..
As part of the SPT team Matt is responsible for Production and Design of all tournament promotional materials. He is in charge of all tournament entry events and Marketing of SPT.
As TD, Todd has the important role of knowing all TDA rules, regulations and procedures for all the poker events we hold. Being Equipment Manager involves that all required tables, chips and cards etc are in present and in order for each tournament.
